A shop located near the entrance of an overpass is regarded as being positioned at a “water mouth”, where Qi and wealth are believed to gather. However, when selecting a shop, it is also necessary to consider that although a “water mouth” location may traditionally be associated with stronger financial energy, it should not be chosen if the rent is significantly higher than that of comparable locations. Among shops near such a water mouth, the first shop closest to the entrance can be considered the preferred choice, while other locations nearby may serve as secondary options.
Many shops face toward an overpass, and the impact of the overpass on the shop depends on the height of the shop. Generally speaking, the higher the shop is located, the more favorable it is considered to be.
For commercial buildings, companies located on higher floors are generally considered more favorable. Lower floors are regarded as unfavorable regardless of whether the overpass curves away from or toward the building, as they are considered to be affected by “Pressure Sha” (Tie Ya Sha).
