Calendar Details
Lunar Date: July 28 (28th Day of the Seventh Lunar Month)
Chinese Calendar: Bing Wu Year · Ding You Month · Bing Xu Day
Day Classification: Shou Ri (收日 / Harvest & Receiving Day) — the tenth officer of the traditional twelve-day cycle. Shou Ri governs gathering: the harvest brought in, accounts settled, agreements received. After the outward, launching energy of the recent Establishing Days, today's current turns inward. It is a day for collecting what has grown, calling in what is owed, and putting your stores in order before the cold season arrives.
Daily Celestial Star: Tiande (天德 / Heavenly Virtue — Auspicious) — the most benevolent of the "Yellow Path" (黄道) spirits, the star of celestial virtue and grace. Where ordinary auspicious stars add fortune, Tiande adds protection: it is traditionally said to dissolve misfortune, soften disputes, and attract help from people of good will. Gifted to a Harvest Day, it makes honesty the most profitable strategy available.
Daily Element: Wu Shang Tu (屋上土 / Roof Earth) — the Na Yin essence of the Bing Xu day.
Key Definitions
Bing Xu Day (丙戌日): The day's Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch. Bing (丙) is Yang Fire — the sun itself: bright, generous, impossible to hide. Xu (戌) is the Dog, the Earthly Branch of dry, stored Earth and the closing gate of autumn. This "Fire sitting upon Earth" is the image of a hearth or a kiln — warmth contained and put to work. Bing's radiance brings visibility; Xu's earthiness gives it something solid to build upon.
Shou Ri (收日, Harvest Day): The officer of receipt. Traditionally it favours collection rather than initiation — taking in the harvest, recovering debts, concluding negotiations, storing grain. Read in a modern context: finish and file, invoice and follow up, gather the results of work already begun rather than opening something new.
Tiande (天德, Heavenly Virtue): A supreme "Yellow Path" star and the classical spirit of clemency. Tiande rewards integrity, favours reconciliation, charitable acts, and agreements made in good faith. A day bearing Tiande lends to any honest transaction a quality of blessing that force cannot manufacture.
Roof Earth (Wu Shang Tu / 屋上土): Earth that has already been fired and laid down — tile and brick, the finished roof that shelters everything beneath it. Abundance today favours what is already built: existing assets, proven relationships, settled structures. It rewards the person who consolidates rather than the one who gambles.

Today's Zodiac Fortune
Most Favored Zodiac Sign: 🐇 Rabbit — Six Harmony (六合) with the day's Xu branch, the deepest alignment of the cycle.
Generally Favorable: 🐯 Tiger · 🐎 Horse · 🐖 Pig — the Tiger and Horse complete the Yin–Wu–Xu Fire alliance with the day, carrying its warmth into career and income; the Pig flows easily alongside them, lifted by the same current that raises its Six Harmony ally, the Tiger.
Signs Requiring Extra Awareness: 🐉 Dragon (Clash 冲) · 🐂 Ox (Punishment 刑) · 🐐 Goat (Punishment 刑)
Lucky Direction for Joy: Southwest
Lucky Direction for Fortune & Blessings: Northwest
Abundance & Prosperity Direction: East
Lucky Numbers: 4 · 9
Lucky Colors
To harmonize with the Roof Earth element of the Bing Xu day and the grace of the Tiande star, consider wearing:
Yellow · Brown · Beige
Yellow carries the warm radiance of Bing Fire and the abundance direction of the East; Brown and Beige echo the Xu earth beneath it, lending steadiness, patience, and the grounded confidence of a finished foundation. Carry these tones through your wardrobe, a chosen bracelet, or a desktop crystal, and place something of the earth — stone, ceramic, wood — in your Eastern abundance corner to anchor the day's collecting current.
Chinese Zodiac Daily Forecast — Harvest & Receipt
🐀 Rat — Direct Officer · Rob Abundance
Duty dominates the Rat's day. The Direct Officer star lifts professional responsibility and visibility before superiors, but Rob Abundance warns that shared resources move against you — lending, co-signing, or funding another's plan is unlikely to return in full.
Deliver your obligations precisely today and keep the ledger closed. The Harvest officer rewards the person who collects rather than the one who extends credit.
Today's focus: Duty · Precision · Boundary-Setting · Collection
🐂 Ox — Punishment (刑) · Direct Abundance
The Ox carries today's traditional Punishment relationship to the Dog branch — a quiet friction that shows up as stubbornness, rigid positions, or a stalled negotiation. Direct Abundance remains available to you, but only through patience.
Soften one fixed opinion before noon. Where you expected resistance from others, look first for the resistance in yourself; the harvest opens the moment you bend.
Today's focus: Flexibility · Patience · Earned Income · Releasing Rigidity
🐯 Tiger — Three Harmony · Eating God
The Tiger walks in the day's own warmth. As a pillar of the Yin–Wu–Xu Fire alliance, you are in full resonance with the Bing Xu current: energy is high, ideas arrive freely, and people naturally follow your lead. The Eating God star adds appetite and enjoyment — hospitality, conversation, and generous output all flow.
This is a rewarding day to be visible, to accept an invitation, and to let your natural authority carry a proposal over the line.
Today's focus: Visibility · Warmth · Expression · Opportunity
🐇 Rabbit — Six Harmony · Direct Resource
The most favoured sign of the day. The Rabbit and the Dog form the Six Harmony (卯戌六合), the closest pairing in the zodiac, and beneath the Tiande star that harmony becomes active support: mentors appear, goodwill is offered without being asked, and the things you have been quietly working on begin to pay.
Direct Resource favours study, credentials, and the help of experienced people. Make the request you have been postponing — today the answer is far more likely to be yes.
Today's focus: Support · Learning · Goodwill · Receiving

🐉 Dragon — Clash Day (冲) · Seven Killings
Today's Xu branch clashes directly with your sign (辰戌冲) — the classic Earth-against-Earth collision, which in practice feels like plans shifting underfoot. Seven Killings sharpens ambition to the edge of urgency and makes you want to force outcomes that are not yet ripe.
Do not initiate anything you cannot easily undo. Postpone signature decisions, avoid confrontation, and treat today as a day of maintenance. The Harvest rewards the careful; the clash punishes the hasty.
Today's focus: Caution · Deferral · Maintenance · Composure

🐍 Snake — Indirect Abundance · Direct Officer
A quietly lucrative day. Indirect Abundance (偏财) opens the door to side income, a bonus, or an opportunity that arrives sideways rather than by plan, while Direct Officer keeps your professional standing secure. Fire supports your sign, so the day's warmth works for you rather than against you.
Review your accounts and expected receipts — on a Harvest Day, money already owed to you is more likely to arrive than money newly sought.
Today's focus: Windfall · Follow-Up · Standing · Gratitude
🐎 Horse — Three Harmony · Hurting Officer
The Horse completes the day's Fire alliance, and carries its momentum. The Hurting Officer star — your natural signature — is powerful today: originality, sharp expression, and the ability to say what others have been thinking. Used well, it wins the room; used carelessly, it costs you allies.
Aim your candour at problems rather than people. Then bank the result: what is gathered today becomes capital for the quarter ahead.
Today's focus: Momentum · Originality · Diplomacy · Consolidation
🐐 Goat — Punishment (刑) · Indirect Abundance
The Goat shares today's traditional Punishment relationship with the Dog branch — a mild but persistent friction that tends to surface as over-thinking, second-guessing, and obligations taken on too easily. Indirect Abundance flickers in the background: small gains are available, but not the kind that survive a rushed decision.
Decline one request you would normally accept. Preserving your own store is the harvest practice of the Goat today.
Today's focus: Over-Commitment · Restraint · Small Gains · Self-Care
🐒 Monkey — Indirect Seal · Rob Abundance
The Monkey feels the pull of two directions. Indirect Seal favours unconventional thinking, private study, and solutions nobody else has noticed — a real advantage on a day that rewards clever collection. Rob Abundance, however, warns of social pressure to spend and of resources quietly leaking to other people's projects.
Put your ingenuity to work on your own balance sheet today, not someone else's.
Today's focus: Ingenuity · Study · Financial Boundary · Focus

🐓 Rooster — Harm (害) · Direct Abundance
The Rooster and the Dog sit in the traditional Harm (酉戌相害) relationship, which usually shows up as small misunderstandings between people who actually like each other. Nothing dramatic — but a misplaced word can be remembered longer than it deserves. Direct Abundance, meanwhile, rewards methodical earning.
Choose accuracy over cleverness in your messages today, and let your work be audited by results rather than by commentary.
Today's focus: Clear Communication · Craft · Earned Income · Discretion

🐕 Dog — Day of Your Own Sign (值日) · Direct Abundance
Today is the Dog's own day, and with the Heavenly Virtue star presiding, your greatest qualities — loyalty, honesty, and steadiness — are magnified and rewarded. Direct Abundance is fully available: legitimate, earned income responds to you today, and long-standing relationships prove their worth.
Guard against the one shadow of a value day: taking on more responsibility than is yours to carry. Harvest your own field first, then help with another's.
Today's focus: Integrity · Steady Income · Loyalty · Boundaries
🐖 Pig — Six Harmony resonance · Eating God
The Pig enjoys an easy, flowing day. Its Six Harmony partner the Tiger sits in Three Harmony with today's branch, so the day's warm Fire current reaches you at one remove — gentler, but no less useful. Eating God brings enjoyment and generous exchange: a good day for shared meals, warm conversation, and comfortable progress.
Use the day's goodwill to gather what you are owed and to close small loops. Comfort is a legitimate harvest too.
Today's focus: Ease · Goodwill · Completion · Enjoyment
Today's Five Element Energy
Today's traditional elemental energy is described as "Roof Earth" (屋上土).
In Chinese Five Element symbolism, Earth represents stability, patience, and the ability to hold and nourish. Roof Earth is a specific image rather than raw soil: earth that has been fired into tile and laid down as shelter. It is the element of things already finished and made useful — the built structure, the retained asset, the relationship proven over years. Combined with the Harvest (Shou) officer and the Heavenly Virtue star, this energy marks the "gathering-in" phase of the autumn cycle: a moment to consolidate rather than to expand.
A day characterised by Roof Earth and Tiande can be used as an opportunity to reflect on:
- What have you harvested this season that you have not yet properly collected?
- Which of your foundations is already built — and simply needs to be lived on?
- Whose goodwill could you acknowledge today, so that it keeps flowing toward you?
- What small financial or relational loose end can be closed before the week ends?
- Where are you still forcing growth that the season is not offering?
You can incorporate this symbolism through yellow, brown, and beige tones, meaningful earth-toned objects placed in your Eastern abundance corner, and a deliberate pause each evening to note what actually arrived today.
