- Remote or Isolated Areas: These locations have few people and lack vitality. Traditionally, they are considered to have weak “Qi” and excessive “Yin” energy, and are believed to be more likely to result in financial losses or even business closure.
- Alongside Highways: Highway barriers can make parking and access inconvenient, while the strong, fast-moving traffic is traditionally associated with intense “Sha Qi.” Such locations are therefore considered unsuitable for opening a shop.
- Tunnel Entrances: For ordinary pedestrian or vehicle tunnels, the downward flow is traditionally believed to cause Qi to disperse, making it difficult to gather wealth.
Exception: Subway Tunnels: Subway systems can channel and concentrate large numbers of people. Therefore, locations near subway tunnels or stations are traditionally considered favorable.
